DBZ: Extreme Butoden to get online battles in Japan

DBZ: Extreme Butoden came out last Friday in Europe and while reception has ranged variably, one common complaint was the lack of online play which would have made the game more accessible and give players a more competitive experience.

Namco Bandai is releasing an update which will enable online play and some new support characters according to Jump Magazine.

No word on a Europe/North America release as of yet.
