3DS vs Switch cartridge size

The upcoming Nintendo Switch will be using cartridges for the first time on their home console since the N64. The image here shows the size difference between the Switch cartridge and the 3DS cartridge.

As you can see; the Switch cartridges are physically smaller than the 3DS ones and will have more storage space starting at 16GB, where as the maximum 3DS storage is 8GB (some launch titles had 128MB)
