NEW Nintendo 2DS XL announced

Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about the 2DS with the announcement of a XL edition of the 2DS coming to America on July 28th.

This model will have the capabilities of the new 3DS such as the secondary C-pad nub, integrated amiibo support on bottom screen and faster processing power, but obviously lacking the 3D feature. The new 2DS XL will come either in black/turquoise or white/orange and is expected to retail for $149.

No word on an official European release date, but it will most likely be on the same date.
