StreetPass Essex Meet This Sunday!

StreetPass Essex is now a thing! Well, in truth it’s a unification of the various existing Essex StreetPassUK groups (StreetPass Southend, StreetPass Basildon, StreetPass Colchester and StreetPass Lakeside, with a sprinkling of Monster Hunter Essex). You could say it’s something of a StreetPassUK supergroup… and it’ll be hosting a super event for Nintendo fans in the Essex region just in time for Christmas!
StreetPass Southend have hosted events in Astro City in the past, all of which have gone down a storm with Nintendo fans!
Yes, this coming Sunday (December 13th) you’re all invited to come on down and get your 3DS (and Wii-U) on with your fellow Nintendo players. Regardless of your poison, be it Animal Crossing : New Leaf, Splatoon or Zelda Triforce Heroes ; you’re bound to find others to game with! In addition to the regular multiplayer shenanigans you’d expect we can confirm there will be tournaments in the following 3DS favorites :
- Pokémon (X&Y/ORAS)
- Monster Hunter 4 ULTIMATE
- Mario Kart 7
- Super Smash Bros

In addition to Splatoon the venue’s Wii U will be running games in Smash Bros 4 and the mighty Super Mario Maker. All of which will be taking place on Astro’s glorious 50 inch HDTV!
In usual StreetPassUK style this event is completely free to attend. So what are you waiting for? Charge up your 3DS, level up your amiibo, and make sure you’re there on Sunday!
We didn’t get to touch on it in the article, but StreetPass Basildon will also be hosting a cosplay contest at the event!
