Hope for a EU release of Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney

For those wishing for a European release of the crossover: Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney, that may come true according to a CEO from Level-5.

Many people were skeptical that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney would get an English language version due to Capcom not importing Ace Attorney Investigations 2 to the West and predicted likewise for this game despite the popularity of both franchises in North America and Europe.
But Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino said at Japan Expo in France that:

Something is in the works, but I can’t talk about it today. Please be patient.

While this might seem very little info, it does give more hope for a whole European release at yet, though the convention was in French.

As news of the latest Ace Attorney getting a western release just come recently, albeit restricted to an eShop release, it is likely that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney will be eShop only as well, unless demand is high enough for a physical retail release.
