3DS eShop releases for 18th July

Shantae just became a lot less rare

This week see the release of the long awaited Shantae (GBC) an extremely rare game which came at the end of the Game Boy Color’s life in 2002. Also we have some discounts and other goodies in the eShop this week:

3DS Virtual Console:

• Shantae (WayForward, £4.49) (GBC) – This title has been on many 3DS players’ wishlist and this Thursday their wish will come true, though this genie doesn’t grant wishes, but whips hair instead.
• Spelunker (Tozai Games, £3.59) (NES) – This NES platformer has a Indiana Jones meets Mario vibe with the protagonist exploring an underground pyramid for treasures

3DS eShop

• Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale (Level-5, £7.19) – Another Guild 02 title from Level-5, involves a monster that only appears on Friday and the protagonist is the son of a dry cleaners in Fuji
• Robot Rescue 3D (Teyon, £2.69) – Guide the trapped robots through dangerous passages, staying clear of paralyzing electrical circuits and sliding past dormant mines!

• The Denpa Men 2: Beyond the Waves (Genius Sonority, free)

• Virtue’s Last Reward (Rising Star Games, £19.99, originally £30.00) [Permanent discount]
